Wattle Grove Honey is a small farm based on the Bellerine Peninsula which produces pure Australian honey and beeswax products from their own beehives.
About Wattle Grove Honey
Jim and Stephanie, owners of Wattle Grove Honey, have many beehives that produce honey from their garden. Their hives are also placed around the Bellarine Peninsula, Geelong and surrounding areas and throughout Victoria to produce and provide their customers with many varieties of pure Australian honey. With the seasons come different flora that attract the bees who gather nectar and pollen throughout the year.
The frames are collected from the hives full of honey and put into an extractor that spins out the honey. This liquid gold is then pumped into settling tanks and strained, to be stored into our storage containers for packing. Our honey is stored in a special insulated room that keeps it at an even temperature.
Jim is a fourth generation beekeeper and Stephanie, though not qute the veteran status of Jim, is just as passionate as Jim about bees and their importance in our lives. Without bees and their help in the pollination of our fruit, vegetables, trees and plants,
where would we be, so if you enjoy your fruit and vegetables thank the bee… please!.
Jim and Stephanie love what they do and care about their bees, and are keen to save bees for future generations to enjoy.
